• Hello and welcome to my web presence! My name is Kate Miller and my passion is people photography. Living in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, portraits, kids, events and theatre productions have grabbed my interest in the past, as well pets.

As well as photography I love to cook and to travel around Europe in my old VW camper, Charlie, and I share my home with Oscar and Lucinda, my British Shorthair cats.

On this web site, you will be able to get a sense of the photos that I have taken on behalf of friends and sometimes just for myself. I hope you enjoy looking at them! (Client's photos are generally only available to the clients themselves).

If you have any questions about the photos on this site, or any other photos of mine that you have seen or would like to see, please use the contact form to get in touch with me. You can also just call me directly on +49 179 1141777.

Oscar is famous!

Oscar’s 15 minutes of fame have come! This month he features on the inside back cover in the staff magazine where I work. I’m so proud:-)

This photo was one of a small selection that I displayed in a “Hidden Artists” exhibition that gives staff members each year the opportunity to share some of fruits of their talent.

Unless you happen to be a colleague of mine, you’re unlikely to see the magazine, so here is that photo of Oscar, the “Banker Cat of the Month Feb 2012”!!

Well done, Kate! That is my favourite kitty pic of yours.

I saw it last night – brilliant!

Last week in the City

I had a great little photo challenge given to me by a good friend last week; get some shots of “city life”. It’s fun to look at everyday things a bit differently, and it always (pleasantly) surprises me when I pay a bit more attention to the stuff I usually see and ignore every day.

If you like to take photos, it doesn’t matter what kind of camera you have, and I can really recommend you also give yourself a little photo-challenge.

Leave a comment and share what you are up to.

It’s Rita Storee Time!

To help prepare for the first Rita Storee storytime this week I had a chance to make some portrait photos and to meet Rita in the flesh. She’s really friendly, so if you have kids who like to hear a good story, don’t forget to go along. There are more details at the TLS site so you can find out where and when.

I would have taken Oscar and Lucinda, but they’re only 1 year old (oh, and they’re cats!!)

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year! May 2012 be the year in which all your dreams come true!

Happy Holidays!

I hope you’re all enjoying some time off to relax over the holidays! I’m looking forward to more photographic adventures in 2012, and hopefully meet as many interesting and fun new friends as I did in 2011!!
