Sometimes the buildings in Frankfurt really surprise me, like this one did. Right in the old industrial part of Ostend, not far from Hanauer Landstraße, it reminded me of the little houses I would build with Lego when I was a kid.
It was extremely cold the last time I went to Vienna, but just as beautiful as ever. However, on this trip I had the feeling that I saw more of the former grandeur of Vienna that was somehow slipping into decline. Perhaps they’re just waiting for the painter and decorator to re-open the shop in the last photo and then everything will be OK again.
A little bit of Hollywood came to town last night for the premiere of the short film “Voyeur” at the Film Forum Höchst. All the stars and celebrities were there to take part in the first public screening. Now we are already getting excited about the trip to the Oscars next year!
